A home with heart
The Elder Independence Care Home was founded in 2024 with one goal in mind: to provide aging adults with the respectful, high-quality care they deserve —in a place that feels like home. Our residential care home is part of the larger Elder Independence family, known for trusted in-home services throughout Central Arkansas.
Here, care is personal. Our low resident-to-caregiver ratio means more one-on-one attention and the ability to respond quickly to changing needs. Every team member is selected for their compassion, experience, and commitment to helping residents live with dignity and purpose.
Whether it’s enjoying a home-cooked meal together, strolling the backyard, or relaxing in a private suite, life here is peaceful, supportive, and full of joy.

Our caregivers
Our caregivers are the heart of everything we do. Each member of our care home team is carefully chosen for their experience, compassion, and dedication to treating residents like family. With a low resident-to-caregiver ratio, they’re able to provide personalized, attentive support — whether it’s helping with daily routines, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing a smile over a cup of coffee.
Our team doesn’t just assist with care — they build trust, create comfort, and bring warmth to everyday life. Their commitment goes beyond the basics, ensuring that every person in our home feels safe, respected, and truly cared for. Our team offers RN-managed care and an registered nurse is on call for our residents 24/7.

You have questions? We're here with answers.
Choosing a residential care home is a big decision. Here are some of the most common questions families ask us:
What is a residential care home? How is it different from a nursing home or assisted living facility?
A residential care home is a smaller, more personal care setting — typically a house in a neighborhood — where a few residents live together and receive 24/7 support. Unlike large facilities, our home feels like a true family home, offering personalized care in a peaceful, intimate environment.
Who is a good fit for this type of care?
Our home is ideal for older adults who need help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or medication reminders, but who don’t require full-time medical care. It’s also perfect for individuals who benefit from companionship and a structured, nurturing routine.
Can I visit the home before making a decision?
Absolutely. We encourage all prospective residents and their families to tour the home, meet our caregivers, and ask questions. We want you to feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. Call or contact us to schedule a tour.
What services are included in the monthly rate?
Our all-inclusive care home services include:
- 24/7 caregiver support
- Help with bathing, dressing, and other daily living activities
- Medication management
- Home-cooked meals and snacks
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Social engagement and companionship
During your visit or consultation, we will gladly answer any further questions you may have.
Can residents bring their own furniture or décor?
Yes! We want each resident to feel truly at home. Bedrooms are unfurnished, allowing your loved one to bring their own preferred furnishings to create a personal space that’s familiar and welcoming. Our residents are encouraged to personalize the space with familiar items, photos, and décor. Our staff is happy to provide assistance if you need help obtaining specific items like home care beds, medical equipment, or accessibility aids.
Is there medical staff on site?
While we are not a medical facility, our trained caregivers are available 24/7. We coordinate closely with physicians, home health providers, and hospice services when needed, and we always keep families informed.
How many residents live in the home?
We are licensed for a small number of residents, allowing us to provide truly individualized care. This low ratio ensures every resident receives the attention, support, and connection they deserve.
Our home can support three to six full-time residents, depending on whether the bedrooms are occupied by singles or couples.
How do we get started?
Reach out to us via phone or our contact form to schedule a tour or a consultation. We’ll walk you through the steps, assess your loved one’s needs, and help you determine if our home is the right fit.
